Something very cool landed in our inbox this week. A stunning RC car collection from RC Crusty, a passionate hobbyist ad RC racer on Instagram. As you can see, every car in his line up proudly sports the iconic Rothmans livery, and they all look absolutely fantastic. RC Crusty shared that he’s always loved the Rothmans design. What started as a single project soon grew into a full collection, with all his shells now painted in this timeless scheme. We can’t get enough of his dedication to detail and style!
His collection features a range of fascinating models, including two Tamiya M Chassis cars, a Tamiya TT01e racing truck, and a sidecar racer on a unique Mardave chassis from the 90s. RC Crusty admitted that the sidecar racer, while eye catching, isn’t as fun to drive as it looks because it’s tricky to set up. Still, it’s a rare gem in his line up.
Looking ahead, Crusty has exciting plans for his Tamiya M06 VW Karmann Ghia. He’s preparing this beauty for the Iconic Cup in the summer, adding upgrades to ensure it’s race-ready. We’re eager to see how it performs on the track. If you want to follow RC Crusty’s progress and see more of his incredible Rothmans-themed creations, check out his Instagram account. https://www.instagram.com/rc_crusty/
We wish RC Crusty the best of luck at the Iconic Cup and can’t wait to see what stunning liveries he creates next!
