Today’s fun story comes from Australian RC racer Tony Gray, a passionate fan of Yokomo and RC legend Masami Hirosaka. Known for his love of RC-themed T-shirts, Tony is often seen wearing designs featuring vintage RC cars. One of his favourites is a custom-made T-shirt that looks like an iPhone screen showing an incoming call from none other than 14 times IFMAR world champion Masami himself!
The fun twist? When Tony shared a picture of himself wearing the shirt on social media, it caught the attention of Masami Hirosaka! The RC legend reposted Tony’s picture on his own social media, much to Tony’s delight. Tony called it a “Life goal achieved,” and we’re sure many RC fans would agree!
Both posts received lots of love and positive comments. It’s stories like these that remind us how great this hobby is, not just for the racing but for the connections it fosters. Masami’s kind gesture further proves why he’s such a legend in the RC world.
We hope Tony managed to get some expert tips from Master Masami and can’t wait to see what custom T-shirts he creates next.
