What are the best YouTube Channels for RC Cars and RC Car Racing?
This week at RC Club Hub, I'm diving into the world of RC based YouTube channels! To find the best ones, I asked the RC community on Reddit and Facebook, and the response was overwhelming. Everyone had their favourite big name channels to recommend, but as we explored the suggestions, we noticed something special, there are plenty of smaller channels out there trying to get noticed too.
So, before we reveal our top 5 RC YouTube channels, we want to shine a spotlight on some of these fresh and upcoming creators. They might not have huge followings yet, but they’re producing great content and are well worth checking out!
Here Are Some of the Smaller Channels We Want to Recommend
RC Misfits - https://www.youtube.com/@RCMisfits
RC Misfits was mentioned a lot on our Facebook page, they have also submitted a Cool Wall submission you can check out below. The channel is a year old now and contains a mixture of guides and vlog adventures. I have to admit my favourites are the vlog videos when the team go on tour and speak to other racers in the community. The videos are well put together and definitely worth a subscribe.
WTF RC - https://www.youtube.com/@WTFRCCars
We're not sure why this channel isn’t bigger than it is with 800+ videos mainly featuring setup and build guides. We can only guess the videos need a bit more SEO and keywords adding to them. The creator Craig is a great guy who I have raced with. If you have a FlySky transmitter, then this channel is a must with all the software guides.
The Hall Brothers RC - https://www.youtube.com/@hallbrothersrc3308
This is a perfect channel for any RC Buggy racer. The Hall Brothers are proven European race winners and are excellent at sharing and explaining RC advice. The videos are really well put together and cover a lot of areas some racers even forget about. If you are an RC Racer, this should be in your channel list.
James Gale RC - https://www.youtube.com/@jamesgalerc
This is another channel we have learned about while putting this article together. James is an RC Vlogger who has a lot of RC cars. His videos showcase a serious collection which ranges from crawlers to dual motor speed run cars capable of over 100mph! James has also posted a Cool Wall Submission this week; I wonder which YouTubers will make it onto the wall?
Top 5 Most Popular RC YouTube Channels for RC Enthusiasts and Racers
Now it’s time to highlight the 5 channels that stood out the most when we asked our followers about their favourite RC YouTube channels.
Most of the top 5 wasn’t really a surprise when you consider their follower counts. However, one channel really stood out: DO RC. Despite having only 30K subscribers compared to the other channels, which all boast over 100K, it’s clear from its content and quality that it deserves much more recognition.
Interestingly, there were a few omissions from the list that we expected to see. For example, Alex Hagberg, who shares fantastic insights and speed secrets, didn’t make the cut, nor did the Tonisport RC channel. Both of these have less than 10K subscribers. On the other hand, RC Driver Online, which has a massive following of 230K, only got a handful of mentions from our followers.

Cool Wall Submissions
Sunkmonkey - Junkyard Monster Truck
Verdict: This is a very unique body design, especially for a Monster Truck. But the finish is great and the picture is perfect. Our first Monster Truck makes it onto the wall!
James Gale - Infraction McLaren
Verdict: So this car not only looks fast, it goes it too! Jame's Arrma Infraction is power by two monster motors and geared to hit speeds on 140MPH! The picture looks great so this is officially the fastest car on our cool wall.
RC Misfits - The Misfitter
Verdict: Not cool. We really wanted to like this submission, the RC Misfit's are a great bunch and their channel is great. We even know they can produce some great body shells from watching their videos. But this submission doesn't cut it. The colours and stickers are cool, but the location is poor, a lot of the car is missing from the picture and the body shell looks like it was cut out using a pair of plyers. Better look next time guys.
