Ever lost your RC track at home? Redditor u/cellfire has come up with a brilliant solution! Using yellow foam tiles as the track surface, they’ve created an unmissable home track that not only solves the problem but looks absolutely epic. Cellfire shared their creation on the RC Cars subreddit, receiving a flood of positive responses. To add to the excitement, they’ve even included jumps, making the track perfect for action-packed racing. From certain camera angles, you’d be forgiven for mistaking it for a full-sized track, especially with the Losi Micro B zipping around.
The track measures an impressive 3.2m long and 1.8m wide, a fantastic size for a spare room. We can’t help but wonder how Cellfire plans to keep it hidden from their partner!
There’s been a lot of interest in the post, with many asking about the foam tiles and even offering ideas to enhance the track further. Some of the standout comments include: "That looks fun 🤩" and "Nice job. When is race day?" We think this track is a brilliant example of what can be achieved with a bit of creativity and effort. Of course, you’ll also need a big room and a very understanding partner.
We’re looking forward to seeing what Cellfire comes up with next. If you’d like to check out the track and Cellfire’s other projects, head over to the post here: https://www.reddit.com/r/rccars/comments/1i5yufn/home_diy_track_v20
