Get ready for an epic test of skill, strategy, and endurance as Mendurance 2 returns to the legendary Mendip RC Raceway! This 5-hour endurance race will push teams of four racers to their limits, demanding precise pit stops, tactical decision-making, and nerves of steel to claim victory.
Designed to put a fun twist on traditional racing, Mendurance 2 is all about teamwork and consistency. Gather your team, fine-tune your car, and get ready for an unforgettable endurance battle on one of the UK’s most iconic on-road circuits! Will your team have what it takes to go the distance?

Mendurance 2 Iconic Class Information
Eligible Chassis:
- Tamiya TT-01, TT-01E, or TL01
- Must adhere to Iconic Cup Stock Class rules and permitted hop-ups
Permitted Hop-Ups:

✅ Tamiya 53665 Spur Gear Set (TT-01) with a maximum 28T pinion

✅ Chassis modifications to fit square LiPo batteries
✅ Replacement screws
Motor Regulations:
🔹 Control Motor:
- Core 21T Brushed Motor or Tamiya Torque Tuned Motor
- More than one motor is permitted for the race
Bodyshell Rules:
🚗 Scale realism applies!
- Bodyshells must be a reasonably accurate representation of a real car
- Any Iconic Cup-legal shell for Stock or Super Stock is allowed
- No "Jelly Mould" style shells
- If unsure, please ask for clarification
Tyres:
- Any commercially available rubber tyres are allowed (as many as needed)
- ❌ No foam tyres
Differentials:
⚙️ All differentials MUST rotate freely – Locked diffs are NOT permitted
Battery & Charging Rules:
🔋 Battery Limits:
- Maximum charge voltage: 8.40V (Random checks will be conducted)
- Overcharging = Disqualification
- All LiPo batteries must be charged in a LiPo-safe container/bag
- Only one battery per car – no stacked or linked batteries
🔌 Power Supply:
- Teams must provide their own charging power
- Generators can be used in designated areas
- Extension cables may be run to the pit area
- 12V batteries & power banks are ideal for multiple charges
Radio Equipment:
🎮 Receivers:
- Maximum of 2 receivers per car allowed
- Enables use of both stick and wheel controllers

Camping & Facilities
For those traveling to events, Mendip RC Raceway offers on-site camping, making it convenient for racers to stay on-site throughout race weekends. The flat grass areas accommodate tents, caravans, and camper vans, with 24/7 access to toilets and a water tap. While there is no electricity or showers, the camping setup provides a practical and affordable solution for racers and their families.
