West Bridgeford Car Classes

Track Information

West Bridgeford Model Car Club offers a versatile range of tracks. For indoor meetings, there is space for around 50 racers, with electricity available. However, racers need to bring their own tables and chairs.

West Bridgeford is known for its welcoming environment. The club is accommodating when assigning heats based on abilities, ensuring fairness and fun for everyone. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making it enjoyable for both beginners and experienced racers.

The pit area can get crowded during busy meetings, and some delays were caused by tape issues. However, these seemed more situational than systemic.

Meeting Highlights

  • On-Road Touring Cars: Excellent grip and technical track layouts.
  • Tamiya Mini Class: A standout category with close, competitive racing.

I raced my On-Road Touring Car and had a fantastic time. The track was well-designed with no dangerous corners, leading to clean racing and no breakages. Though I felt my older car was holding me back in pace, I thoroughly enjoyed the competition and had great battles in both qualifying and the final.

West Bridgeford Model Car Club is an excellent venue for RC enthusiasts. With its welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful track designs, and a range of classes, it’s a must-visit for racers of all levels. I can’t wait to bring my Tamiya M07 for the Mini class next time.
