Club and Track Details
Situated in the Colchester countryside, the Colchester Model Car Club (CMCC) offers a very professional racing experience. Renowned for its exceptional track and welcoming atmosphere, CMCC is a real gem of an RC Track.
The CMCC track is a fantastic design, combining smooth surfaces with a very twisty layout. Each visit promises a new challenge, thanks to the numerous track configurations available. The large curbs add an extra layer of difficulty, testing the skills of even the most seasoned racers. Local knowledge plays a significant role here; it's no surprise that local wildcard racers often find their way into the A finals at national events.
A Relaxed Atmosphere
Club meetings at CMCC are known for their relaxed and friendly vibe. Whether you're a seasoned racer or a newcomer, you'll feel right at home. The club's location next to the A12 does bring a constant hum of traffic noise, but it's a small price to pay for the stunning surrounding scenery.
One of the great advantages of CMCC is the ample parking and camping spaces available for large events. Whether you're coming for a day of racing or planning to stay for a weekend competition, you'll find plenty of space to set up and enjoy.
Membership Perks
For those who can't get enough of the track, CMCC offers an annual membership. This allows members to practise at the track anytime they wish and provides discounts on club meetings. It's a fantastic way to improve your skills and make the most of the facilities on offer.
