Club Review

Nestled in the picturesque village of Bakewell, in the heart of the stunning Peak District, lies the Bakewell RC Car Club. Despite racing only once a month, the anticipation and excitement leading up to each meeting make it a highly anticipated race meeting.

At Bakewell RC, racers can enjoy a variety of modern buggy classes, catering to different preferences and skill levels. The club's dedication to fostering a welcoming environment ensures that each meeting is not only competitive but also fun, fast-paced, and friendly. Whether you're a seasoned racer or new to the world of RC cars, Bakewell RC offers an exhilarating and inclusive racing experience in one of England's most charming locales.

Bakewell RCMCC Track Layout

One of the standout features of the Bakewell RC Car Club is its impressive track. Laid out with very grippy Black ETS carpet, the track provides excellent traction. Spanning a generous 30 meters in length and 14 meters in width, the track offers ample space for high-speed action.

The design of the track strikes a perfect balance between challenge and flow. While the corners are a bit aggressive, adding a layer of complexity to the races, the overall layout flows seamlessly, encouraging smooth and continuous racing. The jumps are intentionally kept simple, consisting of low-level ramps that add a touch of excitement without overwhelming beginners. This thoughtful combination of track features results in incredibly fast lap times.

Bakewell RCMCC Pits

The pits are thoughtfully laid out, providing ample space for racers to prepare and fine-tune their vehicles. The atmosphere at Bakewell RC is one of the club’s most commendable aspects. With a significant number of beginners at the club, it has become an ideal starting point for those new to the hobby. The friendly and supportive community is always ready to offer advice and encouragement.

Adding to the club’s charm is its location in the village of Bakewell, which boasts numerous local shops offering a variety of food and refreshments. These nearby amenities ensure that racers and spectators alike can enjoy a delightful day out, with plenty of options to refuel and relax between races.

If you're looking for an enjoyable and exhilarating racing experience, I highly recommend checking out Bakewell RC Car Club. Whether you're a seasoned racer or a beginner, the club offers feel-good racing in a friendly and supportive environment. The unique blend of competitive spirit and community atmosphere ensures that every meeting is both thrilling and welcoming, providing a fantastic day out in one of England's most charming areas.

Overall, the combination of well-laid-out pits, a welcoming atmosphere, and the convenience of local shops makes Bakewell RC Car Club a fantastic destination for both seasoned racers and those just getting into the exciting world of RC car racing.
